Practical Shortcuts For Architects: Photoshop, Illustrator And Indesign
As an architect, you undoubtedly devote a significant amount of your time to Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign ✍ Whether it's drawing or editing, post-production or presentation, these programs provide a flexible working environment for creativity. However, what if you want to be not only creative but also efficient? When it comes to efficiency, keyboard shortcuts are the answer. They will save you from a lot of clicks and drop-down menus. Here, I gathered some useful shortcuts that you will be using often.
The tables are quite self-explanatory. On the left, there are the toolbar shortcuts as most of the tools from the toolbar do have keyboard shortcuts. On the right, I gathered the essential shortcuts for the functions that you will be using a lot for each program.

These are the table of shortcuts I have prepared, but they are not the only shortcuts that are available of course. In Photoshop and Illustrator, you can click Alt + Shift + Ctrl + K or Option + Shift + Command + K to view/customize all the shortcuts and define new ones. In InDesign, go to Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts. There you can choose one of the keyboard shortcut sets or edit them as you wish. Also, you can check Adobe’s website for more info on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign shortcuts.
